Kathie Lee and Hoda are taking a survey. I have wanted to change my name for as long as I can remember. I hated my name growing up. Now at almost 58 years old I decided that I like the name Elyse. I know people that have changed their names. What about the celebs? They do it all the time.

I don't know but I don't particularly like my name; Ann Jamie Schneider Mindicino (quite a mouthful!) - I love Elyse Rose - great pen name; i named both kids so they could drop the last name & have good "famous names" (not really on purpose - just worked out that way ie: Nicholas Henry & Melony Hope. No offense to my in laws who I love just like the short versions better. You probably didn't like Elyse b/c it was not very common but Ann? I was named for grandmother whom I never knew. It's a big responsibility to give a child a name; they kind of grow into it!
ReplyDeleteI think that Ann Jamie is very pretty. I also love your children's names. I named my daughter Alexandra so she could have options and be able to play around with her long first name. But now that I look back, my nickname was Lisi and I actually like that. My mom's middle name was Ann and my sister is Terri Ann. So Ann, I like your name!!!
