I love the city this time of year. Decades ago I sold commercial photography. Your photos of Rockefeller Center are classic. You cannot imagine how many times we sold those scenes. I have not been to see the storefronts or the Radio City Xmas show. Both were activities I shared with my mom. She is gone now but the memories are special. Thanks for sharing these, Elyse. I don't have much time but I wish I had made it to 5th Ave this year to see the store displays; they really are works of art. Hopefully, next year. Happy Holidays!
Hi Ann, I am so happy that you like my pics. I haven't seen the Radio City Xmas show either. That was something I did with my dear grandmother many years ago. We are lucky that we have precious memories. We will treasure them forever. I also lost my mom years ago and understand how special your memories are with your mom. I only got to see the Saks window. Everything was actually moving. It was all mechanical. There was also a figure riding a bicycle back and forth. I thought I took a pic of it. I have to look again. It is a very clever window.
