Steven Arpad

I was browsing the web and came across these shoe designs.  Believe it or not they were designed in 1939 by a french shoe designer named Steven Arpad.  Arpad worked for The house of  Balenciaga.  I have never heard of him.  Have you?  I think his designs were very ahead of the times.  Steven Arpad's designs are on exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art.
