Have a nice weekend!

This Monday we honor the contribution of workers and the labor movement.  It also marks the unofficial end of summer in the United States,  although I find September to be very summery without the humidity.  A perfect month to visit NYC and explore The Met!

My friend Dr. Doug Segan went to The Met this morning.   Dr. Segan took some amazing pics of amazing pics!!!!!!  (and Sculptures)

Notice the floor!  It looks as though the woman is standing in the middle of two peaks!

Social Benches by Jeppe Hein

Did you ever hear of Social Benches?  Well, I guess all benches are kind of social.  If you are in a park and sit on a bench there is a very good chance that you will start talking to someone who also might be sitting on the same bench.
Jeppe Hein is an artist based in Berlin and Copenhagen.  Below are "Social Benches" that he designed.  Extremely cool!  These benches are sure to get a conversation started!

My uncle's beautiful artwork!

My dad's brother Elliot Engel was an amazing artist and a very special uncle to me.  He worked for Disney for many years.  My Uncle Elliot drew the "Broom Scene" in the movie "Fantasia."   His art has been on exhibition many times.   I would love to share some of his paintings with you.  The following works are oil on canvas.
